We are an old fashioned, Bible believing, Bible practicing, Independent Baptist Church located in Andersonville, Tennessee. At Bible Baptist Church you will find a wholesome, family atmosphere that will strengthen your faith and encourage your walk with God. We invite you to worship with us through the singing of traditional gospel hymns and the Biblically sound preaching of His Word. Whether you’re local to the Knoxville area, or just passing through, we’d love to have you stop in and visit with us!
What can I expect on my first visit?
Our church family is led by Pastor Gil Bates.You will find a very down to earth atmosphere, where members are extremely close knit- praying for one another, sharing, and growing together.Families are encouraged and strengthened from God’s Word, from Christ honoring music, and from the sweet fellowship of fellow Christians. Each service lasts around an hour.
What about my children?
We are a family integrated church, and we welcome children in all of our services. There is a nursery room provided for nursing mothers to use as needed. We also have a children’s Bible class available on Sunday nights, where children work on Scripture memory, Bible songs, crafts, and Bible lessons. Parenting is a hard job; it’s our desire to provide encouragement, resources, and Bible teaching to help your entire family be spiritually equipped and strengthened.
Am I expected to participate in the offering?
Bible Baptist Church does not want any guest to feel an obligation to participate in our offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will findthis church to be a place where you can grow in God’s grace.
